Due to the current weather conditions and a high risk of avalanches, the connection between Vallorcine and Chamonix/Argentière will be completely suspended from 12 February until further notice.

No replacement service can be provided, as the road is also closed to traffic.

The village of Vallorcine will only be served from the Swiss side by TMR trains.

In order to modernise our infrastructure and prepare the new TMR station in Martigny, major works will take place between November 2025 and March 2026.

The Martigny – Vernayaz MC section will be completely closed from 17 November 2025 to 29 March 2026.

Throughout the closure, replacement buses will be in service and parking spaces will be available in Vernayaz.

Trains will run as normal on the rest of the line.

Bus timetables correspond to the usual train timetables to make your journey easier.

How can I buy a ticket during the works?

During the works, the TMR ticket machine at the Mont-Blanc Express station will be unavailable. You can purchase your ticket:
